What's the best way to know when tickets for the Chicago stop of the tour will be available? And will we have to go to the conference to attend the event?
I will definitely put updates on this Substack as I get them so just stay tuned. The Chicago event won't be part of Labor Notes per se, just the same time while everyone is in town, so no you won't have to go to the conference.
Signed up for the online presentation (unfortunately, it looks like Greenlight no longer produces podcasts of discussions, because I'd love to hear you and Josh). I hope the book and the tour will be a big success!
Love the cities that you’re stopping in, I’m glad you’re reaching out to such a diverse audience with strong critical thinking skills. It must make you feel really smart.
Are we able to re-read any of your previous hall-of-famers like that piece you did for Gawker where you tooled around Beverly Hills commenting on the incredible burdens some of the most privileged face...with their servants and their shopping and whatnot?
Mr. Nolan, My name is Jim Miller, with AFT Local 1931 in San Diego. I am a delegate with the SD-Imperial Counties Labor Council and have a number of other statewide and local affiliations. I also co-authored a radical history of SD activism and politics with my wife, Kelly Mayhew, and Mike Davis entitled Under the Perfect Sun. Along with some fellow activists, I'll be launching a new, non-profit outlet focusing on labor and politics. Would you be interested in coming to San Diego to speak on your book as part of our launch and outreach to the community? I'd be happy to help. Let me know. Email: jmiller229@icloud.com.
This is GREAT Hamilton!! I’m asking the libraries I’m members of to please get this very important book of the year.

Please tell your subscribers that you will definitely be coming to your hometown of St. Augustine for a celebratory
book signing. Fish fry and oyster roast at Genung’s Fish Camp included if Sara Nelson comes too. We love you, Hamilton Nolan!
Thank you, unbiased stranger.........
How do you leave out the bluest state with 1/8 of the country’s population?
