"Common threads animating this violent conduct include anti-Americanism, anti-capitalism, and anti-Christianity; support for the overthrow of the United States Government..."

...by non-MAGA crowds. Of course, MAG-ites can commit insurrection with impunity, but not people on the left. Rules are for liberals, not MAG-ites.

These marches are just energy diffusers, they go beyond being pointless to actually worsening our position. People march, threaten no meaningful disruptions, the gop smirks and moves on, and folks go home feeling like they've "done something". We need far more critical actions than this.

That’s true and we need to organize better and not be intimidated by feckless morons .

One of the depressing things, and there are many to choose from, is something that you point out: even if this administration loses in court time and time again, they'll get a thrill out of putting people through the misery and expense of having to defend themselves. It's something that in the past Trump has openly stated he enjoyed doing to people who pissed him off. Maybe it's time we all started studying the techniques of the French Resistance during World War II.

Whom, by destroying infrastructure such as bridges, railway tracks, communication lines, fuel & munitions plus stealing weapons, would so obviously fall into the post 9/11 "Terrorist" definition.

*edit* They are shutting down government, and your public services, likely limiting whatever social welfare remains. Really need to hurt them, the wealthy somehow. Deny them what they want and use every day, whatever that is. Restrict THEIR liberties, take away some kind of privileges.

Don’t these people realize that they are trying to defeat the ruling class?? They may win small victories but like you say you can’t label lawyers, doctors and managers as domestic terrorists . This administration is dangerous but incompetent and the desperation signals this reality. If we really have to meet this threat we will. And don’t forget Trump always chickens out πŸ₯

I guess I'm now considered a Domestic Terrorist 🀷 πŸ€”

We've been joining a group that rallies/protests/demonstrates every Saturday. It's peaceful, mostly seniors, lots of flag waving. Peaceful protest isn't rioting.

You are absolutely correct that we never, never should have bought into the "War on Terror" mythology. 😳

Yes. But, marches and such expressions serve many necessary purposes as they act as a tonic for solidarity and the exercise of free speech, i e opposition rhetoric. They congeal who we are politically, who is with us in our convictions, and maintains our political energy and momentum rather than depletes it. Watch how it happened in South Korea lately. They deposed a corrupt, aspiring tyrant using street protests as the main event. But they knew how to do it- riveting, relentless, huge and cinematic. Our very real risk is that by election time it might be too late. "Disruptions"?, unless unless they're scaled up enough, will be retaliated against so as to terrorize those contemplating it. Keeping up the theater of intolerance is required.

We will continue to have the most prisoners on the planet, mostly political prisoners. Even now our private prisons are filled with what MAGAts consider "terrorists", brown, black, strong, and mostly angry and illiterate young men; Young men who have every right to be angry at a fascist system that betrayed them from the day of conception. These homegrown prisoners are now being joined (illegally and immorally) by migrant workers and immigrant workers of indigenous identity to the Americas. Our nation has been fascistic for a long time. Some white, privileged people are just now starting to notice because it is impacting their lives. Their tomatoes aren't getting picked on time and grocery prices are going up.

My father and extended family all struggled under Nazi occupation in Athens, Greece during WWII. The Katoxi was Greece's time of terror. My family swore an oath against that kind of crap happening again. Being Anti Fascist is in our DNA. Trump is an illegitimate dictator and the Democrats are impotent numbskulls. That leaves us to do the heavy lifting...Educating the youth to NOT be fascist! Always be preemptively punching Nazis, metaphorically or literally if necessary. :)

And keep putting our bodies between soulless thugs and innocent brown people. :(

Your crowd estimate for last night is bigger than mine, but more important than 1500 or 3000 is the continued lack of organized labor in any numbers. My union, PSC-CUNY, which represents faculty and staff at the City University of New York, had perhaps 70-80 identifiable members, and worked to bring people out. Otherwise? Four people holding a 1199 banner, a handful of CWA signs. Maybe I missed some other small contingents.

Not major union turnout (there was a bigger union-centric march earlier this year fwiw) but watching the whole crowd march by I think at least a couple thousand or more. I agree that unions still have not really figured out what their most effective role is in this.

You sanctimonious hypocrites crying about the β€œimperial boomerang” can choke on your fake tears. Your Manhattan marches aren’t for justice, they’re tantrums for criminals. Trump’s EO isn’t fascism; it’s a giant middle finger to your organized chaos. You’re wailing about ICE grabbing illegals from courthouses? Boo-fucking-hoo. Those are lawbreakers, 12 million flooded in under Biden, including 400,000 with rap sheets (CBP data, FY2021-2024). You call that β€œracist oppression”? Try telling that to the legal immigrants who played by the rules, only to watch you cheer for line-jumpers. Your globalist pals want open borders to drown America in chaos, and you’re their useful idiots.

Your β€œboomerang” is recycled academic bullshit. The real boomerang is your side’s hypocrisy smashing you in the face. Obama deported 2.5 million illegalsβ€”more than any president (ICE data, 2009-2016)β€”and you didn’t bat an eye. Now you clutch pearls when Trump enforces the same laws? You banned a sitting President from Twitter, silenced him while amplifying β€œpunch a Nazi” calls to bash conservatives. Twitter Files (2022) exposed the FBI rigging tech to bury Hunter Biden’s laptop and COVID truth. You screamed β€œinsurrection” over J6, where Ashli Babbitt was the only death, shot by Capitol Police, not MAGA. Sicknick? Stroke, not murder (autopsy, 2023). Your Antifa thugs burned citiesβ€”$2 billion in damages, 25 dead, including Black cop David Dorn (AXA, 2020). Bricks staged on streets? On video. Paid rioters? Project Veritas caught your organizers’ cash handouts. Soros’ $220M to BLM allies isn’t pocket change, it’s arson fuel.

Charlie Kirk’s deadβ€”gunned down in Phoenix (August 15, 2025)β€”and you still slime him as a β€œracist” to justify your hate. Same with Brian Thompson, gunned down in NYC (December 4, 2024). Trump’s EO calls out real violenceβ€”Kirk, Thompson, shots at Trump (July 13, September 15, 2024)β€”not your fever-dream β€œfascist war.” Antifa’s a terrorist network, firebombing courthouses across 30 cities (DHS, 2020). Your Foley Square stunts aren’t protestsβ€”they’re felonies, blocking ambulances and doxxing ICE agents (18 U.S.C. Β§ 111). You’re not NYC’s β€œbackbone”; you’re its cancer and you need to be forcefully removed.

You impeached Trump twice on lies, raided his home, slapped him with four indictments, two already crumbling (Georgia RICO tossed, 2025). You branded us β€œthreats to democracy” while Maxine Waters screamed β€œno peace” and Kamala egged on rioters. Now you’re shocked we’re fighting back? Trump’s EO isn’t silencing speech; it’s stopping your bricks, Molotovs, and murders. If the DOJ hunts your networks, goodβ€”same way they jailed J6 grannies for selfies. You don’t get to torch America and call it justice.

We’re done with your gaslighting. You’re the fascists, rigging tech, DOJ, and media to crush dissent. Call us β€œracists”? You’re spitting on legal immigrants and Obama’s own deportation record. Keep marching; we’ll keep voting. Your β€œrevolution” is a pathetic tantrum, and we’re done mopping up your mess. This fight is just getting started and you cucks are going to be on the losing side of history. America is pissed off and you crybabies are about to go down hard.
