I was mid-way through this piece when I let out a heavy sigh of frustration, as I realized how fundamentally correct you are. The horse race is useless, endless, and so tedious. Thanks for bringing me down? I kid! Thanks for another great read.

Great piece, as always, HamNo, but your headline and sub-head are so good that you could have just switched the two and saved a bunch of work. :-)

Also this: "They would displease public figures who grant them access that they depend on," is not discussed enough and is a big part of the rub.

PERFECT 'definition' of the MSM...

absolutely nailed it...I've been trying to figure out a metric to determine what that line is...THIS is it...
