My copy arrived today and I can't wait to dive in as soon as (*lolsob not kidding*) I finish various union emails related to today's round of Labor Relations f*##kery at my company. But I wanna get done and go read my nice new book! Congrats :)

Hey, long shot i know, don't suppose you'll be showing up in Ireland? Also my local book store is very good so im sure they'd order it in, but would you rather we got it from your site?

Your local store is just fine. No Ireland plans yet but you never know.

Congratulations today, Hamilton.! Enjoy your accomplishment to the fullest. You've achieved something truly significant. You can't go wrong walking in the path of justice. Hope to see you at a St. Augustine book signing.

We sure would like to see you in San Diego. Somewhere in your email archives is an unanswered ask from a prominent local labor activist (who contributes to my substack). I sent one too.

Hey, sorry about that, I try to answer all emails so it may have gone in my spam. Could you resend? Hamilton.Nolan@gmail.com

Received my email yesterday that my copy has shipped. Can't wait to read through it, HamNo!

If you don't visit FL... Well, I don't blame you.

Congrats! I look forward to reading it.

This is awesome. I’ve following your writing since you touted the power of super squats and picking up heavy things and putting them down! Congratulations on a very timely book!

Heck yes Hamilton! I am so proud and so stoked. Congratulations on this incredible accomplishment, and thanks for all the good work you put out into the world. We can't wait to have you come talk in Florida! It's hammer time!

If you've a mind to come to Cleveland, Mac's Backs in Cleveland Heights is the place you should go. Book events there always go great.

Just picked up "The Hammer" from Brightside Bookshop in Flagstaff, AZ. No, they haven't stocked it yet -- this is the copy I ordered -- but I'll see if I can encourage them to do so. It's sitting here beside me as I write this and I can't wait to dig in. Came home, sat down, turned on my computer and was bummed by the Mayorkas impeachment -- but reading the dust jacket of "The Hammer" has lifted my spirits. Thank you, Hamilton.

Thank you Bob!

Congrats! I am admittedly holding out for paperback, but will still pitch this: Consider checking out Red Ink Community Library in Providence (they've been closed for a month for plumbing repairs but hopefully will re-open soon), or perhaps Riffraff. No idea how book tours and compensation work, but if you end up on a Northeast Regional leg, could be worth a stop!

Pre orderd and on the way! Now we gotta get you adding Minneapolis / Saint Paul to your book tour.

Best of luck with your book, Nolan!

"I don’t have any kids, but I imagine that “writing a book” is right up there with “having a kid” in the pantheon of things that have the biggest gap between how much you care about them and how much the rest of the world cares about them."

As someone who has done both, this is an apt comparison in that your closest people will make a huge deal out of it for the first, like, week and then kind of go back to normal while your life feels quite different. Though the book hype dies down (in my case) quickly (I hope yours will last longer) and the kid chaos stays... well, indefinitely. In any case, congrats on the book!
