The writing here, no matter how bleak or frustrating the subject, always gives me hope and a solid reminder we are not alone. Stay well and vigilant into 2026!
As always, I'm glad to subscribe and I encourage anyone who can afford to do so to join in. Thank you, Hamilton, for your words and your work. May you - and all of us - have better days ahead.
I pledge to become a contributing member of the Hamilton army as soon as I square away my own financial situation. Your contributions to both my mindset and to the overall collective mindset of all who are part of this group cannot be measured accurately by monetary contributions as contributing in order for you to sustain your tireless and selfless efforts is the very least we can do. I’m positive that I am not alone in my desire to see you attain a higher profile within, what believe should be classified as, a movement. Thank you, Hamilton, for your all you have done for all of us who share your vision of what America could still become.
Will we see more poems in the future? "An Ode to the Humble Peanut, Which Sustaineth This Great Nation With Its Bounty" is still a timeless classic in my eyes.
Great post with the end-of-year recap and top 10 list. I’m going to revisit each one. Thank you for your commitment to human rights and sound, accessible, thought-provoking journalism, Hamilton!
Your work this year has been as excellent as ever and I very much enjoyed every piece you traveled for. I feel like most of Kentucky would benefit greatly from your ability to cut through the distractions and explain why workers need to stick together. I'm not as convinced they're ready to listen, although with promised jobs not developing and a fair amount of existing ones ending maybe their eyes and ears will begin working. To anyone on the fence about your How Things Work t-shirts, I highly recommend!
Thanks for helping me survive 2025! Please keep it up!
If you would transition off this awful nazi enabling platform to ghost or something I would happily pay up for premium but I’m not giving money to substack no matter what and nether should you
Thanks for your excellent writing this year. Wishing you a prosperous 2026.

From Hamilton, the musical:
HAMILTON: So what happens now?
LAFAYETTE: I go back to France,
Bring freedom to my people
If I am given the chance…
HAMILTON: One for all, and all for one—
BOTH: Immigrants! We get the job done! (High five)
We’re with you, sir. Even if we can’t pay for a subscription, we’re with you!
