If we had a real labor movement in this country, it would be calling for mass demonstrations in DC, demanding that Musk and his minions get the hell out, and that they be prosecuted for breaking and entering and theft of government property.

In all seriousness, Luigi jokes aside, thus far, we are the weakest opposition to authoritarianism in history. I don’t recall South Koreans or their opposition party sitting around wringing their hands wondering what to do.
Nolan should be organizing ongoing resistance—or better yet trying to keep up with the wave. What's he reduced to? Begging us to rise to the level of a once-homeless woman with no resources but plenty of guts. More power to him, but he shouldn’t have to be doing it.

Well done -- people don't realize those evil bureaucrats are actually professionals committed to doing a decent job for the common good and have built their internal meanings around that. The epic scandals are there for all to see - no time to run and hide, but effective resistance is so badly needed!
